EPA TSD for Effluent Limitations Guidelines
EPA’s annual reviews of effluent guidelines limitations builds on reviews from previous years. EPA completes an annual review of industrial discharges each year, upon publication of the Preliminary and Final Effluent Guidelines Program Plans. These program plans site directly to the Development Documents for Effluent Limitations Guidelines for each of the specific industry categories.
In odd-numbered years, EPA publishes its preliminary plan that EPA must publish for public review and comment under CWA Section 304(m)(2). In even-numbered years, EPA publishes its final plan that incorporates the comments received on the preliminary plan. Links to the EPA's two most recent final plan documents in 2004 and 2006 are provided below.
