State Title V Permits Website List

This webpage summarizes websites for selected States for available information on draft and final Title V Air Quality Permits, Fact Sheets, and Response to Comments. Thus far, we have reviewed website permit documents accessibility for Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, and California. Some states have more access to permits and related documents than others.

Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ)
Washington Department of Ecology
Alaska Department of Environmental Quality (ADEC)
Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ)
California State Air Resources Board (CARB)

Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ)
The State of Oregon has virtually no final air quality Title V Operating Permits accessible online. Draft Title V permits are only available during the public comment period. In most public notices for specific facilities, DEQ states that a copy of the proposed permit and review report is available for review at a physical site with no electronic files offered online. In some cases, online electronic files of the draft permit documents are linked through the public notice. We have also found that a specific request to DEQ for the draft permit documents in electronic format can generally be fulfilled. No public comments on the draft Title V permits, or Oregon DEQ responses, are provided online.

DEQ's Air Quality Website gives only general information about Permits and Licenses in Oregon, and only summary information of Oregon's Title V Operating Permits.
